Sponsoring students

Costs per year per student is 650 euro in 2024. Parents pay 10% of this amount. We are looking for sponsors for the 585 euro missing.

The LAP has 320 students in 2024 (49% girls).

Donation do not have to be for a full sponsoring. It can be for any amount and it is tax deductible.

In order to decrease the dependence of foreign funding for the running costs of the LAP, we need to invest in revenu generating activities (RGA).

By investing in infrastructure for the RGA, the profit realised is used to cover part of the running costs of the LAP.

One fish tank costing 3.000 euro will generate 5.000 euro / year profit good for 8 scholarships.

One chicken coop costing 13.000 euro will generate 6.000 euro / year profit good for 9 scholarships.

One greenhouse costing 10.000 euro will generate 2.000 euro / year profit good for 3 scholarships.

Our plan is to have 8 fishtanks, 4 chicken coops and 4 greenhouses for a cost of 111.000 euro over 3 years.

This investment will generate 76.000 euro profit per year (30% of our total running costs).
